TAG Nashville is seeking a Commercial Plumber to support commercial customers in and around the Nashville, TN.


Role Summary

The Commercial Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial facilities including office buildings, schools, hospitals, retail spaces, and industrial sites. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, knowledge of commercial plumbing codes, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and fittings
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and damaged piping
• Install and maintain water heaters, pumps, backflow preventers, and related equipment
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety on job sites
• Participate in an on-call rotating schedule with incentive pay
• Communicate effectively with customers, field personnel, and management
• Complete required documentation using digital tools and field service software
• Perform additional duties as assigned


Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, systems, and pipe materials (PVC, ductile iron, copper, PEX, etc.)
• Proficient with plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Physically capable of working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable using digital tools such as iPads, smartphones, and field service software
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumbing License
• Experience in commercial service environments
• OSHA safety training or certifications
