Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to support shop fabrication and custom build work related to refrigeration equipment and stainless steel components. This role focuses primarily on shop welding and fabrication, with opportunities for pressure pipe welding in the shop and on job sites for qualified and certified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform shop welding and fabrication for custom refrigeration equipment packages
  • Fabricate stainless steel heat exchangers, custom tanks, and related components
  • Weld non-pressure piping using stainless steel and mild steel materials
  • Perform pressure pipe welding in the shop and potentially in the field (for certified welders)
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specs
  • Ensure weld quality meets company standards and applicable codes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and shop guidelines

Qualifications

  • Welding experience with stainless steel and mild steel
  • Experience with non-pressure pipe welding required (Level C structural welding certification)
  • Pressure pipe welding experience preferred (Level B pressure pipe welding certification )
  • Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and weld symbols
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in refrigeration or industrial fabrication environments
  • TIG welding experience
  • Field welding experience
